Shri Jagannath temple
The Jagannath Temple is an important Hindu temple dedicated to Jagannath, a form of Vishnu- one of the trinity of supreme divinity in Hinduism, Puri is in the state of Odisha on the eastern coast of India. The Puri temple is famous for its annual Ratha Yatra, or chariot festival, in which the three principal deities are pulled on huge and elaborately decorated temple cars. Unlike the stone and metal icons found in most Hindu temples, the image of Jagannath is made of wood and is ceremoniously replaced every twelve or 19 years by an exact replica. It is one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites.

The serene and sacred holy pond can be visited on your way to Puri Jagannath Temple. Narendra pokhari is a prominent landmark of Puri. The sacred pond is famous for the local activities during the famous Chandan Yatra Festival held between the month of June and June. In this 42-day festival, the three main deities of the temple are taken on a procession to the pond where they are cleansed with sandalwood. This is followed by a boat ride in this pond which is known as “Chapa Khela”. The pond is a sight to witness as locals celebrate the festival with pomp and show. The Gundicha Rani temple is known as the Garden House of Jagannath, the Gundicha temple stands in the centre of a beautiful garden, surrounded by compound walls on all sides. It lies at a distance of about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) from the Shrimandira, the main temple of Jagannath. The two temples are located at the two ends of the Bada Danda (Grand Avenue) which is the pathway for the Rath Yatra.
Siddha Mahavir temple
The temple of Siddha Mahavir is situated at a distance of about one Km to the north-east of the Gundicha temple of Puri. This is a small temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. From the architectural point of view the temple is not so important but from the religious point of view, it is one of the important shrines of Puri. The shrine of Siddha-Mahavir is an important place, where the presiding deity is greatly revered by the local people. God Siddha Mahavir is considered as one of the Eight Mahavirs of Puri town. This temple is built in sand stones and faces to east.
Bedhi Hanuman temple
Bedi Hanuman Temple, as the name suggests, is the chained Hanuman temple and is a small temple by the sea towards the west of Chakranarayan Temple in Puri. It is also called the Daria Mahavir Temple; Daria means 'sea' and Mahavir is an alternate name of Lord Hanuman.
